Exactly one year ago I was landing in Quito. My one-way ticket in one hand and my suitcase in the other. A suitcase full of dreams and hopes, but mainly full of clothes suitable for any season and kind of adventure!
If I have to describe Patagonia in two words, I would say: blue and windy. Blue, because lakes, lagoons and glaciers are so deeply blue and breathtaking. Windy because, even if it’s not as cold as you might expect, the famous Patagonian winds hit you so strongly!
The Atacama Desert is a must to see in Chile. Its variety of landscapes is stunning: one day you are walking in a moony desert, while the other day you are swimming in a lagoon or driving in the snow.
